Advanced Class

The Advanced Class is as intensive as its name suggests.

Oxford Flute Summer School - practice makes perfect

Intended for postgraduates and professional players, the course gives trained flautists the boost needed to achieve the next level in their performance. It also provides each student with their own personal development plan for the following twelve months. In 2012 Michael Cox will be teaching for five full days, from Friday 17th August to Wednesday 22nd August. Classes on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th August will be given by Kate Hill, Katherine Kemler and Samuel Coles.

  • Submit an on-line booking form and résumé by 17 March 2012
  • Send a CD of a recent performance of two contrasting pieces. Emailed or minidisc recordings are not accepted
  • Once your place is confirmed a non returnable deposit of £100 is payable
