We are sorry to announce that for the first time in 34 years we have had to cancel the summer school. We don't feel able to offer our unique OFSS experience of a musically rewarding and socially enriching week in a safe way due to the on-going uncertainties with Covid-19. We are very sad - but already making plans for August 2021 and we very much hope to see you next year!

Oxford Flute Summer School offers three distinct options, but with many shared experiences and an emphasis on active participation.

Designed for enthusiasts between 18 and 80, in this option we will work together on finding ways to refine and improve your playing. Small supportive classes and individual lessons will focus on the pieces you bring with you, as well as introducing you to new repertoire and ideas for developing your practice and musicianship.
You will have access to all the established OFSS experience including ensembles, flute choirs and concerts. There will be optional free time to explore Oxford, walk in the spectacular grounds of Radley College or visit the Friday Farmers Market in Abingdon.
